Arabic and Andalusian music concerts.

At Café Zrirah in Asilah, you can enjoy enchanting Arabic and Andalusian music concerts every Saturday evening. These performances showcase the region's rich musical heritage, bringing together traditional sounds and contemporary influences. Skilled musicians play classical instruments such as the oud, qanun, and violin, creating an atmosphere of elegance and cultural depth.

The café offers a cozy and intimate setting, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the music while enjoying delicious Moroccan cuisine and beverages. The harmonious melodies and intricate rhythms transport the audience to a world of artistry and tradition, making each concert a memorable experience for locals and visitors alike.

Be sure to come early in summer as places near the band are hard to get.

Introduction to Calligraphy

With artist Sadik Haddari

Experience a fun and unique introduction to Arabic calligraphy with Sadek, the calligrapher.

This two-hour workshop provides all materials needed, and both beginners and experienced participants can learn about the specific tools, postures, and fundamental movements of this art. You'll leave with your name beautifully written in Arabic calligraphy. No prior knowledge of the Arabic language is required.

In 2007, Haddari fully devoted himself to his passion for calligraphy. Since 2010, he has divided his time between Morocco and Europe, where he conducts classes, workshops, and seminars for both children and adults. Additionally, he leads discussions and roundtable sessions on topics related to Arabic calligraphy and graphic design, showcasing his commitment to sharing his expertise and fostering a deeper appreciation for this timeless art form.
